You might play both LiS and Lis-before the storm individualy . Each has his own storyline. Of course, they belong together in a way, since BtS closes some gaps of the main game. But there is a gap of three years between the two games, and its not necessary to play both LiS, and BtS to experience one story. The problem was in Unicode. The WASD buttons were not working in the game until I changed it to russian analogs. (I live in Russia by the way) Although the buttons diplayed incorrectly in the controller menu (just sircle symbols, as I said again Unicode issues) the game was playable and my character started to move properly.

And the only thing I can do is to close Stadia. This message is in the game, not Stadia saying it so the problem is definitely not with my network connection.
